John Edwards – as Managing Director John is responsible for establishing E4E as an ethical and vibrant commercial organisation that serves our customers needs whilst upholding the Co-operative values of honesty, transparency and community.
John has over 20 years of education market and senior management experience, ranging from establishing start ups in the private sector to extensive commercial, procurement and strategic consultancy across education and the Public sector.
John passionately believes that the Co-operative model which places the customer at the centre of the organization rather than profit or shareholder interest, is the perfect fit for the rapidly changing education sector. Consequently as MD, much time will be spent listening to our members and customers to understand how E4E can develop the very best products and services that specifically serve the unique needs of Schools, Academies and the wider education community.
Mark is the Operations Director and a founding member of the Energy for Education Co-operative responsible for making sure the Co-operative runs to a high standard on a day-to-day basis. Mark is also lead for the Energy Efficiency projects and building relationships with other co-operatives and industry partners.
Mark has been working in the education industry since leaving University in 2002 initially working in a School and then moving to consultancy and project management. He has worked in the BSF and Academies programmes for most of his career focusing on Buildings and ICT, specifically ICT integration, Mark has also had a mixture of more classic management consultancy, bid leadership, management and change roles.
Mark is passionate about energy and the environment especially thepositive impact of ICT and energy efficient technologies can have to create more sustainable buildings and how the students and staff can be involved in these projects to enhance their knowledge and understanding.

Amy manages the quoting and bill analysis process as well as handling customer relations and being the point of contact for all our members. Amy graduated from Liverpool University and went on to work in the education market around CPD and training, before developing the idea to develop an energy procurement service specifically for the education market which lead to the creation of the E4E Co-operative.
